Subject: Lake Morey Advance
Good morning everyone!
May you arise and walk in the name, power and in the authority of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this morning.
Do not be discouraged nor frightened by recent events ( personal and international ), for they are as the fowls of the air, trying to steal the word of God from you. (Mark 4:15, Luke 8:12)
Remain in God's perfect peace, choose to remain in the shadow of His wings.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)
I desire to share with you the following scripture that came into mind yesterday and how the Holy Spirit has planted a seed of action.
2 Corinthians 10:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
What are these weapons?
Surely The Word of God, prayer and fasting are weapons. Hopefully you can add to this list.
Weapons are ineffective if not utilized. Weapons are not effective if the soldier is not properly trained in it's use.
Years ago the Holy Spirit used the FGBMFI to spearhead airlifts as a weapon to spread the gospel in Europe in the 1980's
As we pray for the persecuted church, here and abroad. May we come together, united and strengthened by the Holy Spirit to make a stand, and to stand against the spirit of evil, and of terrorism.
Is there now a prompting to bring the gospel to those areas affected by the an evil spirit which is driving IS and other terrorist groups?
Can you imagine an airlift to Syria, a plane loaded with weapons of warfare which are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down strong holds?
Can you imagine the impact that a plane filled with prayer warriors will have upon the hearts of those afflicted and the hearts of the oppressors?
Can you imagine the impact when the world witnesses God's power of love in such seemingly hopeless situations?
I would ask that each of us would pray for the church, for the perssecuted church, for those afflicted for the gospel's sake and how the Holy Spirit would use us.
May we have the opportunity to share what the Holy Spirit has been prompted us individually and in our respective prayer meetings and related organizations.
