Our speaker this month is Dr. Thomas Mancini. God called him and has drawn him into a relationship with Jesus Christ, God gifted him and sent him to Togo, Africa. God raised up people in Togo and here to help him minister to the medical needs of people in and around Togo. In the process, Tom has grown to know and experience what it means to follow Jesus, which he will be sharing with us. The question then is; am I using the gift God gave me? as part of the body of Christ.

John 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

John 4:35 "Do you not say, There are still four months and then comes the harvest"? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and

look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

John 4:36 "And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit for eternal life, that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

Nancy Lundquist is a wife, mother of three, and a testimony to the power and love of Jesus Christ!

Nancy and her husband Mark have been married for 27 years and have three children; Ashley, 21, a senior currently attending Liberty University in Virginia; Nathan, 20, serving in the Air Force in Tucson, Arizona, soon to be leaving for Yakota, Japan; and Joshua, 20, who works with the youth group and will be leaving on a four month mission trip to Nicaragua in January. Nancy will be speaking on her family's journey to hope and healing after a devastating secret left the family in ruins.

This is our 1^st ever woman only speaker. This is a story of persevering under tremendous family duress. Please come and support this woman and her family. Bring someone who has not had the ideal family life of a stable home and loving parents and siblings.

As we continue to follow Jesus; (We want more to hear Jesus speak into our lives about what He wants us to do; not just being busy doing good church things.) We want to know Him as He wants to be known.

Please be praying that we continue to learn how to walk in obedience to His Word, and being faithful to the call of God upon our lives, using the gifting He has bestowed upon each of our lives.

This month our speaker is Pastor Gonsalves. He is the pastor of the Portuguese Assembly of God in Seekonk. Born in Portugal, he later served in Africa as an officer in the Portuguese Military. He came to America in the early 1970's and was employed by the school department in Pennsylvania. While there he was led to belief in the Lord while going through a time of difficulty. He later graduated from Zion Bible College. He has been the pastor of his church for the past 29 years. His ministry is to people both here and in Africa. His church is regularly shipping large freight containers of medical supplies to both Mozambique and Cape Verde.

Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will give us favor to invite friends and business associates.

Pastor of Parkway Assembly of God, and the Sr. Administrator of Parkway Christian Academy of

Norwalk Connecticut He is a graduate of Central Bible Institutearid Seminary of Springfield, ' Missouri. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven, Connecticut.

Ordained by the Assemblies of God International Fellowship, the Rev. Mariano has pasta red churches

in Nixa, MO, Guilford, CT, and at present Norwalk, CT. At Guilford he led the congregation in the building of a colonial church building. At Norwalk he led the congregation in the building of an Educational Building to the already existing church.

Because of the "boldness" of his testimony, in believing that the Church.is relevant-to the challenge

of our present-day society, Rev. Mariano has appeared on numerous television programs including

The 700 Club and Trinity Broadcasting Network. He has held two lectureships at Yale University and has taught Criminal Justice courses at the University of New Haven. He has also lectured at many other colleges and universities. Rev. Mariano has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the British West Indies. At Kerala, India at an Ecumenical Crusade, Rev. Mariano spoke before audiences of more than 100,000 persons. In 1997, he spoke throughout South Korea by invitation of the Methodist Churches. He has spoken at many Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International Conventions, and at numerous

religious conferences in the U.S.A. .

The life-story of the Rev. Mariano is marked by unique and miraculous incidents. As a young man he

was healed of Acute Nephritis (Bright's Disease) after being given just three months to live. He and

his wife were spared from death as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Rev. Mariano has faced devastating circumstances in life. Mrs. Mariano was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and eventual- ly died of the disease. His 24 year-old daughter was killed by a drunken driver. Rev. Mariano relates a dramatic story of faith and courage against the backdrop of the never changing Word of God.

Twelve years after the death of his wife, Rev. Mariano remarried. Since then

he and his wife Patti have ministered in Mainland China to the "underground

Church", South Korea, and they have ministered in Israel for the past four

years. They have also ministered to the American Military" in Sicily and ;, throughout Europe for the past two years. They have most recently returned from ministry in the South of Brazil.

Our speaker this month is Eugene Costa. Gene was born in St. Michael,

the Azores and came to the United States with his parents in 1969. He

was employed as a foreman for a large construction company in Boston.

After 21 years he began a small landscaping business.

Gene was brought up in a religious home and always had a strong faith in

God. The Lord was faithful and Gene was born again in 1987. He is now

attending Pentecostal Assembly in New Bedford, MA, where he is currently

a member and also a deacon and a member of the board of directors.

He loves Jesus and enjoys sharing what Christ has done in his life and for

others. He has a zeal for God. We look forward to hearing his testimony.

He presently owns and operates New Beginnings Landscape Design and

Construction, Inc. which he has been operating full time since 2006. He is

married and has two children.

Here is the obituary for Reggie Peters from Buxont, Maine

Reginald Allen Peters, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2011. He was born on April 26, 1930, in Lincoln, Maine, the youngest son of John O’Dell and Nellie Alta Peters. His mother died just a year later, and he was taken to Canada to live with his paternal grandparents and his aunts, who raised him.

Educated in the New Brunswick schools, he came to Maine in 1948, where he has lived most of his adult life. He graduated from the University of Maine with a BS degree in Business Administration. He worked for many years for the Arnold Machinery Company, the State of Maine Caterpillar Tractor Dealership. His final position in that company was that of Controller.

He retired from the company in 1980, and has busied himself with working for Non-Profit Organizations - The Maine Christian Civic League, Womans Christian Temperance Union, and the Full Gospel Business Mens Fellowship International. He has been Chapter President of the local FGBMFI Chapter for many years, and has served as Coordinator, Treasurer and Registrar for their annual Advances and Conventions.

In addition to his work for non-profit organizations, he has been active for many years in local churches, serving as Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent, Clerk, Pianist, and Youth Leader. He was presently attending the Church of God in Windham.

His wife and companion for over 43 years, Barbara, passed away in 2006. They had lived for many years in Buxton, Maine, where Reg enjoyed gardening, etc. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Peters, of Auburn, Maine and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many loyal friends, including Brett and Linda Hall of Dayton and John H. Folsom II of Alfred.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, June 20, from 6-8 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd.) in Buxton (Bar Mills).

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 21 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook. www.dcpate.com Following the burial, everyone is invited to attend a reception at the Church of God, Rt. 302 in Windham.

If you choose to make memorial donations in lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to one of the many organizations that Reginald supported.

Subject: Reggie Peters' passing

Hello,
I have good and bad news for you. Our dear friend, Reggie Peters passed away into the arms of our Lord at 12:30pm today. His good friends John Folsom, Linda and Brett Hall happened to be there at the time of his last breath.

This past week Reggie had been very peaceful. He was on a morphine drip to alleviate the massive headaches he had.

The wake will be held on Monday night, June 20th. The funeral will be on Tuesday June 21st at 10:00am.

The funeral parlor is: Dennett, Craig and Pate in Buxton, ME (at the corner of Portland Road and Route 202). Their phone number is 207-929-8200.

As soon as the obituary is published, I will send it out.

Our speaker this month is Charles Nault. He started his own business 25 years ago in his home. Atrion Networking Corporation is an established systems integrator and network services provider which employs 170 people today. He heard Zig Ziglar share his testimony and about his relationship with the Lord Jesus and surrendered his life to Jesus. He begin a relationship that so changed his life, he became involved in mission work here and overseas for the past 15 years. He and his wife Brenda love the Lord, and are a blessing in their church and in the local community. He will share how he listens the to the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit directs his path.

And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang the law and the Prophets." (Matt. 12: 37-40)

Dr. Roger D. Goos
(October 29, 1924 - March 7, 2011)

Roger D. Goos, 86, of Narragansett, went to be with his Lord on March 7, 2011.

Roger grew up on a farm in Iowa, serving in the Infantry in WW II (European Theater) earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was recalled to service during the Korean War.

Roger served as Professor of Botany and Department Chair at the University of Rhode Island during the years 1970- 1995. Dr. Goos received his B.Sc, MSc and Ph.D from the University of Iowa. His work experience included the United Fruit Company in the U.S. and Central America, the National Institutes of Health, the American Type Culture Collection and the University of Hawaii before coming to the University of Rhode Island. His career took him on interesting travels to many countries, including a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Lisbon in Portugal and an Indo-American Fellowship at the University of Madras. He served as President of the Mycological Society of America and has published many articles and papers on the subject of mycology, conducted local mushroom walks, and is well known internationally in mycological circles.

Dr. Goos was an active member and elder in his church and the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International, as well as being ordained as a minister of the Gospel.

He is survived by his wife of more than sixty-four years, Mary Lee (Engel) Goos; daughters, Marinda Lee Cox of Tuscon, AZ, Suzanne Pfisterer and her husband David of Mystic, CT; seven grandchildren, Sean M. Cox, Annie Lee Cox, Gretchen, Daniel, John and Ronald Pfisterer; brothers, Willys, Clair and George Goos and sister, Alice Conder.

A service will be held for Roger on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 AM with Visitation 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in Apponaug Pentecostal Church, 75 Prospect St., Warwick, RI 02886. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Gladbrook, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers gifts may be sent to Apponaug Christian Academy at above address or Providence rescue Mission, 627 Cranston St., Cranston, RI 02907-2813.

No breakfast in Warwick, RI on January 1st in hopes that men can make the commitment to go to the Advance.

Carlin Nash and Dan Mariano will be the speakers. These are two men who have paid the price and have walked in the Spirit for many years. I believe it will be our last chance to hear these two men of God share the walk in the Holy Ghost.

Our speaker this month is Ray Farnum. He and his wife Joan are in the ministry of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ where ever they have an opportunity. He took an early retirement from his secular job some years ago and as he prayed, the Lord lead him by the Holy Spirit to share the Good News of Salvation thru Jesus Christ at the Providence Rescue Mission, at churches, and at a Bible club in a public school. He teaches and shares by his life how we all can answer the call of God in our lives to bring the Good News that we have experienced into our work place, our neighborhood and family by a life of prayer and a life for Christ. He will also share what it means for him to live for Christ.

As we consider, we are called into a fellowship with Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior to praise and worship Him; also to be a witness to those around us by the leading and power of the Holy Spirit.

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Luke 10:1

Then He said to them," The harvest truly is great, but the labors are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labors into His harvest." Luke 10:2

"Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves."

I believe He calls us to follow Him and to be transform and inpowered by His Holy Spirit as His disciples to be a witness for Him. He has you and I just where He wants us for His purpose.

Our Speaker this month is Jose Matos. Jose, spent most of his childhood being sent back and forth, living with his grandmother in Puerto Rico and his mother in the ghettos of Brooklyn, New York. Jose joined the Marines, and while serving became addicted to drugs and alcohol. This lifestyle spun out of control, and Jose found himself in prison, guilty of armed robbery in the first degree.

This is where Jose found God.

Only weeks after Jose was released, God opened the door for Jose to go back to the prison where he had been incarcerated, as a volunteer, and tell others about what the Lord Jesus Christ had done in his life. The Lord has led Jose to a life in Mission work. His prison ministry; called Set Free, trains, teaches, and preaches to inmates in local prisons. He also evangelizes to a number of local churches.

Jose will share his testimony of how by God's grace, miracle after miracle has been performed in his life.

Reginald A. Peters was born in Maine, but went to New Brunswick, Canada, to his father's ancestral home where he grew up and received his education, including a year of college. He then moved back to Maine, where he worked for many years, finishing his education by going to college at night, earning a BS degree in Accounting and Finance.

He was employed for many years at the local Caterpillar Tractor Dealership, working at various jobs within the company, and advancing to the position of Controller and Office Manager. During this time he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, and became deeply involved in church in many positions. He also heard about the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship, and was instrumental in forming the Portland, Maine Chapter and also in promoting the Annual Convention for Northern New England. He has worked for many years as Coordinator and Treasurer, and also became involved in the Lake Morey Men's Advance in Vermont, serving as Treasurer of that group.

A highlight of Reg's Christian walk is his experience of being healed of depression which had troubled him for many years, even though a Spirit-Filled Christian. Our speaker this month is Bob Bernier. He attended Rhode Island School of Design, receiving his degree in Architecture in 1980. He begin serving the Southern New England architectural community as a freelance Architectural Illustrator by the direction of the Lord. He has taught drawing for Rhode Island School of Design at Newbury College. He served as a bi-vocational minister in his church, where he was raised up as a deacon and a lay pastor before he was ordained in 1996. In 2004 Bob took over the Church as lead pastor from his pastor and mentor, Tony Saraiva, and became the senior in 2006. Bob's primary passion is his hunger for the word of GOD and credits this as one of the many contributing factors to his faithfulness and as a Christian and minister.

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two
before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

Jonathan Shuttlesworth is 28 years old and lives in Virginia Beach, VA. He has a heart and soul for God…something that is rarely witnessed in a young man his age. Al Licata is retired from many years in business as a Salesman, Sales Manager, Divisional Supervisor, Investment Broker and Business Owner. He now lives in Cambridge, Maine, with his wife Sissie. They have raised four sons.

At the height of success, Al sensed a great lack in his life which was fulfilled when he was introduced to the Lord Jesus Christ. He then became involved in various ministries, and was part of the founding team which established the Braintree, Mass. Full Gospel Chapter, serving as Vice President. He was active in that Chapter for many years, and also reached out to work in local churches in their Royal Rangers programs.

Currently, God has called Al into an Internet Ministry to Evangelize and teach about God and His love for mankind. The ministry is called Reach, Teach, and Keep. His passion for many years has been to follow Christ's call to all believers: "God and preach the message of Good News to all Men"

Our speaker this month is Pastor Gary Munize from North Kingstown Assembly of God Church. Gary and his wife Chris surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ during the move of GOD in the seventies. He will share with us how this experience changed and transformed their lives. When we are born again, we experience a change from 'me' being the center of live to Jesus Christ being the center of life. This process can only happen by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes there are things that God allows; but must be dealt with in another season. Pastor Gary has experienced inner peace in recent years that is only the work of Holy Spirit. You will be blessed! A testimony of JESUS!

Let us pray that we will come together others expecting to hear from God. I could never imaged how this relationship with God as my Father, Jesus Christ as my Master, and the work of the Holy Spirit in me has changed my inter man over these years. I cannot properly express how I feel about Jesus the Christ.

Eric Cardoza was born in 1980. His parents were High School sweethearts. They were madly in love and set out to raise their kids to live life to the fullest. By his early teens, Eric knew for a fact that there WAS NO GOD!!!

At the age of 20, Eric was well educated in his profession, married to his wife Amanda and with his children, and living life to the fullest. It was just what his Mom and Dad wanted. Eric had plans to be a self-made millionaire by the age of 25 and a billionaire by the age of 30.

Without notice, and to everyone's surprise, Eric gave his life to Jesus and realized everything he thought to be true, was a lie. After 7 years of serving God, Eric was still chasing his dreams of becoming a self-made billionaire.
