Native to the Boston area, Matteo was born into a musical family with a strong thread of the Holy Spirit’s presence. He grew up around the gifts of the Spirit and had a sense of awareness and understanding of God’s grace and love from an early age. He describes many “Pig Moments” (coming to one’s senses) through high school, college, and an active musical career. From a prison cell, a divorce, and a bankruptcy, Matteo shares some of these threads woven by God’s Finger in a story of God’s grace, mercy and redemption.
Matteo received his B.A. in Music Theory and Composition (Plymouth University, Magna Cum Laude, 1990) – continued on with part-time graduate work while working at Boston University as a Production Manager from 1990-95. Moving to New York, he founded “Selah, Inc.”, a music services corporation that boasted a recording studio, a touring Christian band, producing musicals, teaching workshops on music theory and history, singing and playing as a band in ministry, sound ministry and basic mixing principles and sound installations. In 2011, he added a 4 year apprenticeship in Drafting to his resumé.
He continues to write and record music that reflect God’s love and power in a truly artistic way that demonstrates excellence in his field. Now that he has returned to “Red Sox Nation” territory, he will be present with our Full Gospel chapter here. Come hear a testimony that inspires and soothes the mind and soul.
Matteo will also be singing with his mother at this meeting.
